Our apartment is spacious (c. 115 sq.m.), light and cheery and well-equipped. Set over two levels, it is just two minutes walk from the main resort beach and seafront, a similar distance from a variety of foodstores and a 10 minute walk from the restaurant area of the old town and port. Both bedrooms are air conditioned with en-suite bathrooms.

Upper level

• Fully-fitted, well equipped kitchen
• Fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven and hob
• Utility area with washing machine
• Guest W.C. with wash handbasin
• Living area is light and open, and leads out onto the sun terrace.
• TV with a basic range of satellite channels
• VCR and DVD player with a selection of films
• Hi-fi system (CD / cassette / radio) with a selection of music. If you wish, please bring your own videos, DVDs, CDs or cassettes.
• South-facing sun terrace with table, chairs and built-in barbeque and a sea view.

Lower level

• Open-plan staircase leads to the lower level
• One very large bedroom with kingsize bed (an extra fold-up bed is available if required), with air conditioning and en-suite bathroom, including twin washbasins, bath/shower and separate WC .
• A second good-size twin bedroom, air conditioning and en-suite walk-in shower, WC and washbasin.
• The two bedrooms are separated by an interior cactus garden and sliding windows.
• Each bedroom has good wardrobe space.

Because of the open plan staircase, the apartment might not be suitable for very small children.

The apartment contains everything you need for a relaxing holiday, including fans in all rooms for those particularly hot nights. A lockable safe is provided in one of the bedrooms. The apartment is looked after by a local property management company who organise a weekly clean and mid week towel change, and are available in any case of emergency or similar need. Additional cleaning services can be arranged if required for an additional fee.

Location

The apartment is located in a quiet residential complex opposite the beach, and within easy walking distance of both the seafront and the old port area, with an extensive, international choice of restaurants. The complex has a pool, which is usually fairly quiet as most people seem to use the beach, since it is so nearby.

Although a car will enhance any holiday to the island, as there is so much to see and explore, it is not essential. The airport is 15-20 minutes by taxi, and the beach is a two-minute stroll down the steps and across the road. There are plenty of shops around to find everything you need.

Arrival day is flexible, although most flights to and from Lanzarote are on a Thursday.
